I forgot to include the info, that the pre keys are ! and " now since there's a new feature in 0.11.4 which uses my old keys > and <.

I adapted raana's awesome pre-patch for pftp 0.10.0 to the newest available version 0.11.1. The old patch doesn't work since many things were added between the two versions. It took me a while and it was a bitch patching it manually but there you are :) Have PHUN !

the five steps to painless whoring & preing with pftp 0.11.1

1) apply the patch: "cd pftpfxp; less pre-patch-0.11.1 | patch -p0"

2) add field like "PREDESTINATIONS=Here,There,Somewhere" in your .pftpconf

3) launch pftp. in site preferences editor you'll notice three new options. for each site put the site's pre command(s) there in the corresponding section(s) "%s" is the directory name cookie. example: "pre %s doh" would be something like "pre Release-DIE doh" on pre

4) choose the directory you wish to pre and press "<" pres the selected directory only on the current site ">" pres the selected directory on *all* open sites

5) a dialog pops up where you can select the destination (Here/There/Somewhere) for your release with tab/arrows. press return to execute pre or cancel by pressing escape

* site aliases had to go to prevent being rude to the original bookmark format (-> you can safely go back to previous versions if you wish etc). did someone actually use those site command aliases? :-)

* i didn't get the other pre-patch on pftp.suxx.sk to work so it's the official excuse for releasing this piece of crap ;-)
